This series of islands stretching out in the north sea is unique in many ways. From November to January you can explore the orcas coming into the coast. In February and March the area is famous for the fishing industry and the great winter cod fishing season. From mid-May the midnight sun is giving sunlight 24 hrs a day until mid-August. In this period North Norway never sleeps.
